About My Experience in Pool Industry

Mother City Pools was founded in 2024 by
Ishmael Nkhata, a pool enthusiast who’s seen
firsthand how a well-maintained pool changes
homes and lives.

Ishmael’s been in the pool industry since 2018 at age 19, he started working for a pool company and learned the trade from the ground up. Where his contract ended in 2023, he started building his own client base in the Helderberg area -cycling door to door offering pool cleaning services.

In early 2024, that hustle became Mother City Pools PTY (LTD). Today we’re a team focused on fiberglass pool installations, renovations, and maintenance across Cape Town
